About Us

3-5 working days: If the product states an availability of 3-5 working days, this means we usually have the item in stock, either at our mail order warehouse or at our store. In most cases, these items will be dispatched to you the next working day. Very occasionally we may sell out of a product. If this is the case, we aim to contact you to let you know this as soon as we can.
7-10 working days: If the product states an availability of 7-10 working days, this means we do not hold a large number of these in stock, which sometimes results in us ordering the item in. This normally only takes a few days, but can take up to ten working days (two weeks). Our aim is always to get your order to you as quickly as possible, so as soon as your order is complete it will be dispatched to you.
Pre-Order: We give the option to place a Pre-Order on some products. This is usually offered if a manufacturer is about to release a new product in the UK. By placing a pre-order, you are reserving a place at the front of the queue when the product becomes available. If you opt to pay by debit/credit card, you will only pay for the item when it is ready to ship.
If you place an order that has items available in both 3-5 and 7-10 working days, we will assign the in stock items against your order, and dispatch your order in one shipment as soon as possible. If you would like a split delivery please contact us and we will try to arrange this for you.
Whilst we do all in our power to get your order to you in the time frame stated, very occasionally delays do occur.
Christmas Gift Returns: We know it can be difficult to get the right size, colour or item for Christmas, therefore we have extended our returns period over Christmas. We will accept returns on items bought on or after 11th November 2011 as Christmas presents until Monday 16th January 2012.
Unwanted Items: If you no longer require an item you have ordered, you can return it to us within 14 days of receiving it for a refund, the item must be in pristine condition with all tags still attached. Return postage will be at your expense.
Incorrect Items: If you have received an item you didn't order plase email sales@completeoutdoors.co.uk and we will either arrange a collection or ask that the item is returned to us. In this instance your return postage costs will be refunded (up to First Class Recorded).
Defective Products: If an item you have received is defective, please email sales@completeoutdoors.co.uk and explain the problem (with photos if possible) we will arrange for the item to be collected if necessary and have a replacement arranged.
Damaged In Transit: If an item you have received has been damaged in transit please email sales@completeoutdoors.co.uk with a photo of the damage (if possible) and we will arrange for the item to be collected if necessary and have a replacement arranged.

Our store is in the village of Bourne End near Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, and is crammed full of fantastic gear and in the summer we have a large outdoor display of tents and camping furniture for you to view.
The Complete Outdoors has operated an online store for over ten years. Over that time we have worked hard to earn a reputation for offering great value, high quality products, and we have strived for excellence with our customer service. From small beginnings we now have a dedicated team to maintain the website and dispatch online orders from our warehouse in the Chiltern Hills, supplying customers across the UK and Europe.
