"Having been a scout then venture scout,showing my age I know, I still rely on my trusty trangia. I have a 25 & 27 but get the most from the my 25 now that I have a wife and two kids to catter for. The charm of the.trangia range is its simplicity, having packed mine with 4 cups, cutlery and a lighter, it stays along with a trangia bottle of meths in the top pocket of my rucksack. This way no matter how spur of the moment our camping trips maybe we always have a relyable lite weight cooking / eating solution ready at hand.
With imagination, or a short trawl on the net, it is possible to offer hot nutritious meals for 4 people from this lite reliable cooker. As long as you give it a good clean when you return from your camp, be it down to the local campsite or half way up Ben nevis, this cooker will not let you down.
I bought my 27 23 years ago I still have it,and use it, I think that this was probably the best thing I ever bought with my paper round money.
My recomendation is buy a Trangia it will out last the cheaper gas cookers by years."
