"This is my model Trangia meths cooker for my sins! Although to be honest I own countless other bits of Trangia and Trangia type copies kit too as well really, most of which is interchangable and useful with this unit. This set is better for cooking for a few folks; if you want the single/2 person cookset buy the 27-1 Trangia unit instead! This 25-1 Trangia unit is great for expedition use or group use of three to five to cook for essentially. Not the lightest of cooksets this Trangia is, but if you are group cooking it can be split weight-wise between the group members to share the weight. It is a great performer this unit, being very fuel economical using just plain meths, or converted to take gas with the conversion kit or equipped with Green-heat gel pots too even. A great alcohol meths stove. It is solid and dependable and will not let you down in the fiercest of weather either. Now you know why the Scouts and other organisations like Duke of Edinburghs like these traditional outdoors cookers so much!"
