The Petzl Tikka XP2 Head Torch integrates two light sources as well as a Wide Angle lens with a simple open-close feature, allowing the user to choose between a long distance focalized beam and flood beam proximity lighting. This headlamp is equipped with a white high-output LED and a red LED. The white LED delivers 80 lumens in maximum mode and lights up to 60 meters. In economic mode, it can reach a burn-time of 160 hours. The red LED provides lighting to preserve night vision or to become a blinking light for increased safety, for example in an urban environment, etc. The Petzl Tikka XP2 can be used with lithium batteries to decrease weight and increase performance in cold weather. The Petzl Tikka XP2 also benifits from an intergrated whistle to attract attention in an emergency.

Petzl ACCU Core Rechargeable Battery has been designed for the entire Petzl Tikka2 - Zipka2 line of headlamps. The Core battery offers an advantage over regular batteries; its battery life is equivalent to that of more than 900 type LR03/AAA batteries: the Core battery recharges up to 300 times (complete charging cycles) before its capacity drops approximately 30% lower than its initial capacity. It is very easy to insert and can be charged via any standard USB charger: a mobile phone charger, a multimedia device, a solar panel, a portable energy source, a computer, etc. Unlike standard batteries the Core has excellent performance at low temperatures thanks to the Lithium Ion Polymer technology. The Core works with OS by Petzl which is easy to download from Petzl's website and helps you to customize the functioning of your headlamp according to the needs or type of activity. This software is used to determine the type of lighting: when regulated, the light intensity remains constant during use; unregulated it diminishes progressively to optimise battery life, It then becomes possible to adjust, in a very intuitive way and only with a few clicks, the lighting level (maximum or economic mode) as needed.

Petzl USB Charger comes with wall and car adapters for standard USB cables. The wall charger comes with interchangeable adapters: Europe, North America and United Kingdom. The in car charger has an integrated battery full indicator. This is an ideal, practical and compact size for travelling.
