MSR Dragonfly Stove Customer Reviews Reviewed By: Eamonn on 05/26/2009 "Absolute best stove i have ever seen, before a bought it i was worried about wether i really needed a £110 stove and now that i have it I can tell you YES! i did, everyone needed this stove it is amazing, you may have herd people complaining about the noise it makes, but they are just jealous that their stove isnt as loud. The reason for the noise is the sheer power of the stove, and if you turn the flame down to about the size of a regular gas stove it is no louder. The flame is completly adjustable from as low as literaly a candle flame to the most awesome jet you will ever see. The stove is alot easier to set up than it first looks, it takes about 1:30 to get it all going(You have to let the fuel pipe pre-heat for 45seconds before you really get going), even though it may take slightly longer to set up than a gas stove it still manages to boil water before any of the gas crowd are even seeing steam. If travelling abroad a liquid fuel stove is easily the best option, you can find fuel anywhere, this stove will burn anything flamable except alcohol(although i hear rumors that you can burn alcohol but i havent tried it) It packs down into a stuff sac with the fuel pump and two heat reflectors small, and will fit nicely into you rucsac side pocket along the fuel bottle with room to spare.
