Force Ten Helium Carbon 200 Lightweight Tent. New for 2012, the Helium Carbon is a super lightweight tent, designed for times when excess weight is an unaffordable luxury. Based on Force 10's popular Helium tent, the Helium Carbon sheds weight by using lighter weight flysheet, inner tent and groundsheet, as well as super lighter Carbon X-Light poles. The Helium Carbon 200 is the perfect lightweight tent for backpacking trips and adventure races.

"Outstanding bit of kit. Have got lots of tents for different situations but have always been a bit wary of super light weight tents, the carbon 200 has proved me very wrong. I had narrowed my choice to between this and the Vaude power lizard ul but eventually went for the helium as i preferred the pole sleeve and tensioning system. Formits intended use as a ultra light backpacking/adventure race tent it is perfect, would just advise to pick pitching spots carefully with the thin nature of the groundsheet, but this would go without saying on this type of tent at this price. A strong rigid pitch can be achieved in 3 minutes, especially if you use the trick i've learnt of leaving the end poles in place and rolling them within the tent. The only niggle if i had to think of one would be that mine weighs slightly more than the claimed 950 gms at 980 gms, but this is still amazing for what you get from then tent and still 70 gms lighter than the power lizard."
