DescriptionExped Mountain Pro 50 Rucksack is the largest pack in the Exped Mountain Pro series, this lightweight and weatherproof alpine pack is perfect for multi-day trips or gear intense tours. This pack was developed and designed with the experience of numerous professional mountain guides and the focus was clear: remove all unnecessary extras and offer full performance in the mountains. This clean single compartment mountain pack comes in a very versatile size and has no need for compression straps due to its slim design. The centre of gravity is places close to the body for superior load control and offers enough head clearance, an important feature while climbing or skiing; plus it is easy to pack through the generous access. It features an extensive range of removable feature: one neoprene zip pocket, four versatile straps, a transparent and weatherproof document and map pocket made of TPU film and an emergency EVA bivouac pad. It also benefits from innovative one hand operated closure, so the lid can be sealed using a karabiner; when wearing gloves the use of a climbing karabiner instead of the smaller biner that comes with the pack can simplify closing.

- Large lid with taped seams features both an internal pocket (with pen holder and key clip) and an external pocket with weather-proof YKK zipper
- Innovative one hand operated closure. The lid can be sealed using either 2 Rapide Hooks or 1 carabiner (crafted of lightweight aluminium)
- 5 daisy chains for endless attachment options, 2 ice axe loops of slit webbing are also ideal for securing trekking pole tips
- Virtually waterproof pack with taped seams and PU coated and densely woven 420D Nylon fabric. Fabric is DWR treated
- Removable thermoformed hip belt, Variable positioning of the hip-belt buckle, either centred or depending on personal preference left or right over the padded belt preventing any pressure on your stomach
- Double base with 4 mm EVA insert for added durability. EVA also helps keep the pack upright when on the floor
- Premium mesh padded shoulder straps that adapt to shoulder contours. Sternum strap included
- Thermoformed body contact back panel with a slight concave shape for perfect fit. Fabric is DWR treated for zero snow accumulation
- Light grey packsack internal coating for good contrast and overview of contents
- 2 internal gear loops for climbing hardware and two elastic loops for quick access to avalanche probe and shovel shaft
- All adjustable straps have Velcro tidies: preventing the strap ends from flapping in the wind
- Shoulder harness webbing is secured to the base for superior control of the pack even when climbing an overhang
- Seal the pack with the roll top closure in wet weather
- Draw cord adjusts the volume
- Also use the draw cord to compress or secure gear not in use like jackets, rope or crampons under the lid
- Transparent, removable and weatherproof document bag also holds water bladder, wet gear, MP3 players etc
- Removable emergency bivi mat, also ideal as a pad during breaks in cold, wet weather
